DUSHANBE, December 14, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill requiring amendments to the country’s law on mandatory military service at a December 14 meeting, presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered and endorsed the agenda of the next sitting of the sixth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation that will be held on December.
