DUSHANBE, December 18, 2009, Asia-Plus — The body of young man was found hanging on horizontal bar at stadium of Dushanbe’s School # 32 yesterday night, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
“Criminal proceedings have been instituted and the main version of the prosecutor’s office is suicide,” the source said.
According to a MoI, 538 suicide cases, including 70 minors and 271 women, have been registered in Tajikistan in January-November this year, which is 137 cases more than in the same period of last year. Of them, 240 cases have been registered in the Sughd province, 128 in the Khatlon province, 81 in districts subordinate to the center (RRPs), 72 in Dushanbe, and 17 in Gorno Badakhshan.
