DUSHANBE, February 23, 2010, Asia-Plus  — At the invitation of Tajikistan’s Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER) a group of election observers from China have arrived in Dushanbe.

According to the Tajik Embassy in Beijing, the delegation consists of six persons and led by Ambassador at Large Chzhoy Syaopei (phonetically spelled).

On election day, together with election observers from other foreign countries and international organizations they will monitor the voting process.

In the meantime, a polling station at the Tajik Embassy in Beijing will open on February 28 at 8:00 am to allow Tajik citizens residing and studying in China to vote.
