DUSHANBE, March 2, 2010, Asia-Plus  — The Democratic Party of Tajikistan (DPT) has expressed dissatisfaction with the process of the February 28 parliamentary lections in the country.

DPT leader Masoud Sobirov told Asia-Plus Monday afternoon that voting was held at the lowest level.  “The DPT observers and supporters registered numerous serious violations, but whom we now may submit our complaints to, if all international observers, except OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission, delivered their verdicts, recognizing the elections valid, transparent and free,” the DPT leader noted.

Sobirov noted that they would thoroughly analyze the situation and only after that they would submit complaint regarding violations they registered to the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER) within the next few days.
