Over 500 people to participate in OneRun half marathon in Dushanbe

Over 1000 people participated in the race last year.

Dushanbe on Youth Day – May 23 will once again be part of the large-scale international OneRun half marathon by the ‘League of Heroes’.

The run will take place over four distances: 1 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 21.1 km. The route will go along the central streets of the capital – along Roudaki Avenue, near the National Library, Roudaki Park, the Palace of the Nation (Khokhi Millat), and other iconic locations.

The start-finish area and fan zone will be located in the center of Dushanbe.

According to preliminary data, more than 500 people are expected to participate in the run.

The organizers of the run are the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports, the Tajikistan Running and Marathon Association, and the Dushanbe City Hall.

Anyone wishing to participate in the half marathon will be able to do so.

The organizers note that the run is suitable both for a first official start and for those who want to set a personal record.

Last year, the international One Run half marathon united over 220,000 participants in 25 countries worldwide. Over 1000 people took part in the run through the streets of Dushanbe on May 24.
