DUSHANBE, March 17, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Canceling the visa regime will promote further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Afghanistan and Tajikistan in all fields, Afghan Deputy Minister of Information and Culture, Ghulam Nabi Farahi, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

He is sure that there ought not to expect any serious expansion of economic and social-technical cooperation between the two countries until the visa regime is canceled.

“Canceling the visa regime is one the major topics of the ongoing meeting of the Tajik-Afghan intergovernmental commission,” said Afghan official, “We must seek signing of a frame agreement that could lead to abolition of the visa regime in the future.”
