DUSHANBE, April 5, 2010, Asia-Plus  — A 17-year-old eleventh grade student from Dushnabe’s school # 94 is nursing a stab wound at the National Medical Center.

According to the law enforcement authorities, a brawl broke out among several students from schools ## 25, 33, 88 and 94 at school # 94 last Saturday, leaving one teenager injured.

A source at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) says Saturdays scuffle initially started between the two students following quarrel then escalated to include several others.  The police were called to intervene and since then several of the students were brought to the police station.

Head physician of the National Medical Center, Abdullo Pirov, confirmed that two school students were taken to their hospital last Saturday.  “One of them was discharged after medical examination the same day, while the other one, Rustam Sherov, who sustained stab wound in his leg is currently undergoing medical treatment,” Pirov said.
