Dushanbe. June 18. “Asia-Plus” — The World Refugee Day, which is celebrated worldwide on June 20, will be marked in Tajikistan today.

Today, UNHCR Office in Dushanbe will host a special press conference on the occasion of this day, UNHCR told the AP. The goal of the event is to draw attention to refugees and to pay tribute to their courage and contribution into hosting society, the source has said.

Press conference will be conducted by Ilia Todorovich, the Head of UNHCR in Tajikistan.
