Dushanbe. June 24. “Asia-Plus” — Actions of destructive and dark forces aiming to destroy the foundation of centuries-old friendship, good neighborly relations and mutual respect between Central Asia nations and create chaos and lawlessness in Kyrgyzstan require strong condemnation and careful investigation, Tajik Foreign Ministry said today in a release.
It said that Tajikistan feels sorrow for these tragic events that are taking place in south of Kyrgyzstan and which resulted in ethnic conflict in which multiple people have been killed and many have become refugees.
“There is no doubt that further deterioration of situation and expansion of this interethnic conflict may lead to significant consequences and may stir tensions in both Central Asia and outside the region,” Tajik FM said, stressing that brotherly Kyrgyz nation needs peace and unity of all healthy forces for preservation of national unity and sustainable development of the country.
