KHUJAND, July 29, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Sughd province has sent a consignment of food products to builders of the Roghun hydroelectric power plant (HPP).

According to the Sughd administration press service, the food products have been provided by mayor’s offices of the cities of Isfara and Qairoqqum.

The assistance included 500 kilograms of meats, 500 kilograms of rice, one ton of macaroni, 1.5 tons of wheat flour, 1.2 tons of potatoes, one ton of onions, one ton of carrots, 200 kilograms of dried fruits, 600 kilograms of vegetable oil, 120 kilograms of tea, and 500 liters of soft drinks.

Besides, the Khujand administration sent 9 tons of basic food products to the Roghun builders yesterday as well, the source said.
