DUSHANBE, August 30, 2010, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmon is visiting districts subordinate to the center in central Tajikistan today.
Today morning, Rahmon attended a ceremony of an official opening of a new school in Roudaki district, according to presidential press service.
A total cost of the project is 5 million somoni. The school will accommodate 928 pupils in two shifts.
Today, the head of state will also visit Hissar, Shahrinav and Turusunzoda districts to get acquainted with socioeconomic situation in these districts and inaugurate a number of social facilities.
During this one-day visit, Rahmon will also hold meetings with administrators of these districts and familiarize himself with work of the agrarian sector in central Tajikistan.
