DUSHANBE, September 2, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Tajik law enforcement and power-wielding structures are continuing a search operation for prisoners that escaped from a pretrial detention facility in Dushanbe on August 23.

The source at one of power-wielding structures of the country has told Asia-Plus that the settlement of Chuqaysha in Vahdat district has been cordoned off in hunt of one of the escaped prisoners.  “One of 25 prisoners that escaped from the detention facility of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) on August 23 is supposedly hiding in the settlement,” the source said.

As it had been reported earlier, one of the escaped prisoners, Ibrohim Nasriddinov also known as Qori Ibrohim, was detained in Vahdat district today morning.
