DUSHANBE, February 1, 2011, Asia-Plus  — The latest developments in Tunisia and Egypt are internal problems of these nations and we hope they will be solved with due regard to national interests and security of the peoples of these states, Usmon Solehov, the head of the propagation department of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), told Asia-Plus today.

Under this situation, Tajikistan’s authorities must think about providing, first of all, security of Tajik nationals that are currently in Tunisia and Egypt, he noted.

“As far as the issue of replacement of authorities, mass civil unrest and defying existing laws in these countries, Tajikistan had been faced with that in the mid-1990s already,” Solehov stressed.
