DUSHANBE, February 2, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Members of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) have endorsed amendments to the country’s laws on securities and stock exchanges, commodity exchange and trading on the exchange, employers’ associations, electronic digital signature, and association of water users.

A regular sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation, resided over by its speaker, Shukurjon Zuhurov, was held on February 2.

Presenting the amendments, Minister of Justice Bakhtiyor Khudoyorov noted that they were aimed at promoting implementation of “One-stop-shop” (OSS) principle when state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.  “Under these amendments, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs will be registered without legal examination of their articles of association,” Khudoyorov said.

The minister stressed that the amendments were a decisive move towards implementation of the OSS principle when state registration of business in the country.
