DUSHANBE, April 9, 2011, Asia-Plus — Tajik-Dutch Business Club has been established in Hague, the Netherlands, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

An organizational meeting of the Club took place this week.  The meeting was attended by Tajik Ambassador to the Netherlands Rustamjon Soliyev and representatives from business community of the Netherlands.

Citizen of the Netherlands and head of the Jaaz Flowers Company Aziz Odilov, who is also a chairman of the society of Tajiks living in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, was elected head of the Club.

Addressing the meeting, Ambassador Soliyev briefed those present on investment climate in Tajikistan, economic and hydropower capacities of the country and called on Dutch entrepreneurs to participate in investment projects in Tajikistan.

Aziz Odilov, for his part, noted that the main objective of the Club was to promote expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial economic and investment cooperation between the Netherlands and Tajikistan through establishing and developing direct ties between representatives of the business communicates of the two countries.
