DUSHANBE, April 13, 2011, Asia-Plus  — A 46-year-old woman from China who worked with one of Chinese construction companies in Tajikistan has been killed in a traffic accident in Dushanbe.

According to the Interior Ministry traffic police directorate, the accident took place on the Amirshoyev Street Tuesday night.

“The BMW driven by 25-year-old Farhod Abdulloyev ran over the woman, who died on spot,” the source said.

The driver was detained and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
