“A new department – department of general information and diplomatic communications – has been established within the ministry under this concept,” said Zohidov, “Besides, the department of information and the department of analysis and strategic studies were merged into one new department, named department of information, press, analysis and planning of foreign policy.”

According to information received from MFA, Davlat Nazriyev, formerly head of the information department, has been appointed to head the department of information, press, analysis and planning of foreign policy.
