DUSHANBE, July 14, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Chinese entrepreneurs who arrived in Dushanbe to attend an international exhibition, entitled “XUAR Export – Tajikistan-2011,” have provided assistance to Dushanbe’s Orphanage # 2, Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) said.

Speaking at the donation-handover ceremony, Mr. Jan Kai Sen (phonetically spelled), head of the border trade department of China’s Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR), noted that providing assistance to orphaned children “is one of our main tasks as human beings.”  “No one should remain indifferent to the fate of orphaned children,” said he, “The more people sharing this view of the problem, the less unhappy children around us.”

The CCI deputy head Asanali Karamaliyev, for his part, noted that every reasonable person realized the significance of providing assistance to vulnerable children.

The orphanage principal, Ms. Qumri Tuliyeva, says the orphanage is now house for 100 orphaned children.
