KHUJAND, July 15, 211, Asia-Plus  — Only the cities of Khujand, Qairoqqum and Taboshar in the northern Sughd province paid pension beneficiaries the full amount of pensions for June, the Sughd department for social insurance and pensions reports.

The city of Chkalovsk has paid 82 percent of the amount of pensions for June so far.

The most serious situation is reported in Jabborrasoulov, Ayni, Spitamen, Shahriston, Asht, Ghonchi and Konibodom districts that have paid only between 5 to 10 percent of pensions for June to date.

The full amount of pensions for June in Sughd province is more than 20.9 million somoni, while only little more than 6.5 million somoni have been paid so far.

According to the Sughd department for social insurance and pensions, 177,292 pensioners now live in Sughd province.
