DUSHANBE, August 9, 2011, Asia-Plus — /Avaz Yuldoshev/ – This morning Tajikistan President, who is currently on his working trip to Khatlon area, visited Hovaling region. In administrative center of the region President Emomali Rahmon took part in the opening ceremony of a new sport center and Palace of Culture, President’s press service reported.

Additionally, President met with the activists and residents of Hovaling region and asked their questions. He also listened to proposals regarding further development of the region.

Tajik leader handed 12 young public servants keys to apartments in a newly constructed 2-storey house and ordered related structures to build 5- and 6-storey houses in the region to provide all residents of Hovaling with housing.

Related structures were also ordered to provide residents of the central part of the region with drinking water and develop tourist potential of the region.

Today Emomali Rahmon is also scheduled to visit Baljuvan region of Khatlon district.
