DUSHANBE, August 9, 2011, Asia-Plus – Tajik boxer Madadi Nagzibekov wins for the second time at the Asian Boxing Championship which is taking place in Incheon, South Korea.

On Monday, August 8, our boxer won his match against Indian sportsman Bhagwan Jay taking a 26-16 decision.

A total of four Tajik boxers took part in the Asian Championship. Fights in four weight divisions of 52, 60, 64 and 70kg took place in the first day of the championship on August 6. Tajik boxer Yusufi Safoviddin (52kg) was the first to fight against Indonesian boxer Bria Julio and was eliminated by loosing 6-2.

Our boxer Madadi Nagzibekov (60kg) won his first match against Su Chin Fa from Taipei taking a 12-23 decision.

On August 7 well-known Tajik boxer Anvar Yunusov (56kg) won his first match against Chinese boxer Chang Jaway (20-15).

Young Komil Holikov (69kg) lost his match against Indian boxer Jangara Mandip (9-21). Another well-known Tajik boxer Jakhon Kurbonov lost against Almatduat Ikhabu from Jordan.

Quarter finals will take place today, August 9, in which our boxer Anvar Yunusov (56kg) will take part.

On August 10 boxers will have rest and will continue to compete later.
