DUSHANBE, September 3, 2011, Asia-Plus – Sabzali Sharifov, the head of the Islamic Revival Party (IRP)’s organization for districts subordinate to the center, was killed and the IRP deputy head Saidumar Husaini was injured in a traffic accident that took place on the Vahdat-Fayzobod highway Saturday morning.

Mahmadali Hoit, the deputy head of the Islamic revival Party, told Asia-Plus that they were driving to Fayzobod district for meeting with the party members and the public of the region.  “There were driving in a personal car of Saidumar Husaini,” said Hoit, “As a result of the accident Sharifov died on the spot, while Husaini sustained various injuries and was taken to a hospital.”
