DUSHANBE, September 19, 2011, Asia-Plus  — The next meeting of the CIS Council of Border Guard Commanders will take place in Dushanbe from September 21 to September 22.

According to Tajikistan’s border service, border guard commanders from all the CIS member nations have confirmed their participation in the forthcoming meeting.

The meeting is expected to discuss issues related to border control cooperation, interaction in combating trafficking in narcotics and weapons as well as countering illegal migration, the source said.
