DUSHANBE, November 21, 2011 Asia-Plus  — On Saturday November 19, President Emomali Rahmon participated in planting a new garden in Dushanbe.

Under the municipal redevelopment plan, the new garden will be laid out on the territory of 15 hectares, Navrouzgoh Park at the Dushanbe hippodrome, the presidential press service said.

The head of state ordered to enlist the services of skilled specialists to plant the government.  He also pointed to the necessity of improving the territory of the Ustod Roudaki Park as well as areas around the Ismoili Somoni Monument, the National Library, the Sign showing the National Emblem of Tajikistan and the Flagpole hoisting the National Flag of Tajikistan, the source said.

We will recall that Dushanbe will host the next international festival of Navrouz in March 2012 and the main festive events will take place at Dushanbe’s Navrouzgoh Complex.
