QURGHON TEPA, December 14, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Ethnic Tajik Sayburhon Kirgizov who had Russian citizenship was shot to death at one of parking lots in the city of Magnitogorsk in the evening of December 9, Bakhtiyor Sultonov, the head of the Tajik Diaspora  in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk oblast said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

According to him, the Tajik Diaspora is monitoring the investigation into killing of Kirgizov.  Sayburhon Kirgizov, who was born in the Jilikul district of the southern Tajik province of Khatlon, had been involved in entrepreneurship in Magnitogorsk.

“The law enforcement authorities are currently considering several versions, including killing connected with his professional activity,” Sultonov added.
