DUSHANBE, December 26, 2011, Asia-Plus — Two fatal traffic accidents were reported in the northern province of Sughd on December 25, according to the Interior Ministry traffic police directorate.
In the Istaravshan district, Nourullo Qarshiboyev failed to control his combine harvester and hit a 23-year-old woman, who died on the spot.
The second fatal accident was reported in the city of Qairoqqum. Qairoqqum resident S.V., 18, failed to control his Opel-Astra that was rushing at high speed and it overturned. As a result of the accident, the driver died on the spot, the source said.
