DUSHANBE, January 25, 2012, Asia-Plus – On Tuesday January 24, President Emomali Rahmon shuffled government officials in the “economic bloc.”

Sharif Rahimzoda, who had previously served as Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, was appointed Minister of Economic Development and Trade, replacing Farrukh Hamraliyev.  

Farrukh Hamraliyev was named to e State Adviser to the President for Economic Affairs.

Abdujabbor Shirinov, formerly Ambassador of Tajikistan to the United States, was appointed to head the National Bank of Tajikistan.

Turaqul Haqnazarov was relieved of his post of Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan in connection with transfer to other job.
