DUSHANBE, June 19, 2012, Asia-Plus — The Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan reports that Tajikistan has exported more than 4 million U.S. dollar work of electrical power over the first five months of this year, which is 1.2 U.S. million fewer than in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Tajikistan has produced more than seven billion kWh of electricity.  Of this amount, more than 1.4 billion kWh were generated in May, the source said.
