According to the Tajik MFA information department, the sides discussed state and prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey.

Investment climate in Tajikistan, Tajikistan’s water-and-energy potential as well as organization of a Tajik-Turkish business forum scheduled for December this year were also among major topics of the meeting.

Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (Türkiye İşadamları ve Sanayiciler Konfederasyonu or TUSKON) is the largest union of employers in Turkey.  It has more than 40,000 members, 90% are from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with fewer than 50 employees.  TUSKON is engaged in lobbying all decision-makers at the local, regional, national and global levels.
