DUSHANBE, January 23, 2013, Asia-Plus  — Deputies of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament have endorsed bills requiring amendments to the country’s laws on state duties and other mandatory payments to the budget.

A regular sitting of the fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation, presided over by its head, Shukurjon Zuhurov, took place on January 23.

Presenting the amendments offered to the mentioned laws, Nusratullo Davlatov, Chairman of the Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan, noted that rates of some state duties would be raised.

“The amendments made to the law on state duties provide for increase in state duties for those leaving Tajikistan and those who want to return to the country.  Visa issuing duties will be raised and state duties on issuing warrants for driving and notarial certificates for some documents will also rise,” Davlatov noted.

Asked about the rates of state duties for permissions to leave the country or to return to the country, Davlatov said they would rise four times – from 40.00 to 160.00 somoni.

Under amendments offered to the law on other mandatory payments to the budget, payments to the budget for distribution of outdoor advertizing will be made only by distributors.
