DUSHANBE, October 21, 2013, Asia-Plus — Three persons, including one young woman and two babies, were killed on October 19 as a car fell into an irrigation canal in Khatlon province.

According to the Interior Ministry’s website, the accident took place in the territory of the Sodiq Farm in the Shahritous district.

Tico that was moving though a rice field fell into the irrigation canal.  The driver, Ma’mura Qalandarova, 22, survived the accident but her three passengers – Khairinisso Khujamberdiyeva, 19, Asror Anvarov, 3, and Asadbek Anvarov, 2 – died on the spot.

The cause f the accident is under investigation.
