DUSHANBE, October 22, 2013, Asia-Plus – A tender to choose an audit company to conduct an external audit at the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) is going.

According to the NBT press center, the company will audit Tajik central bank’s activity during this fiscal year that will end on December 31, 2013.

The audit at the NBT should be conducted in accordance with international audit standards and the audit may be conducted by an audit company registered in Tajikistan or a foreign audit company, which does not have license for conducting audit activities in Tajikistan but has standing international reputation and experience in conducting audit at central (national) banks.

Audit bids are accepted until 5:00 pm of October 31, 2013.

It should be noted that Kazakh audit company, KPMG Audit, has conducted audit at Tajik central bank since 2008.

The National Bank of Tajikistan is the central bank of Tajikistan.  The Bank is engaged in developing policies to promote financial inclusion and is a member of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion.
