DUSHANBE, October 24, 2013, Asia-Plus – Over the first nine months of this year, Tajikistan, where the population 98 percent Muslim, has reportedly produced 46,000 decaliters of alcohol drinks.

According to the Ministry of Energy and Industry (MoEI), the majority of alcohol drink producers in Tajikistan produce their output in patented tanks.

Over the same nine-month period, Tajikistan has reportedly exported US$250,000 worth of ethyl alcohol.
