DUSHANBE, November 4, 2013, Asia-Plus – Two residents of the northern city of Konibodom have been arrested by officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA)’s office in Sughd on suspicion of drug pushing, according to the DCA press center.
Eight packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to hashish weighing some 7 kilograms have been confiscated from them.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug peddlers under the provisions of article 200 (4) of Tajikistan’s Penal Code – drug trafficking; an investigation is under way.
