DUSHANBE, March 24, 2014, Asia-Plus — On January 22-23, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon paid a working visit to his hometown Danghara in Khatlon province.

On March 22, President Rahmon attended the Navrouz celebrations in the district administrative center and an official opening of a news secondary school in the village of Huseinshaikh.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, construction of this school that will accommodate 1,280 pupils began in 2012.  The cost of this project is reportedly 17 million somoni.

On the same day, the president inaugurated a new central district hospital with 150 beds in Danghara.  Some 100 million somoni were spent for construction of this hospital, which is provided with latest equipment and technologies.
