DUSHANBE, June 2, 2014, Asia-Plus – According to the Interior Ministry’s website, three fatal traffic accidents were reported in Tajikistan last weekends.

On May 31, Toyota Corolla, driven by 17-year-old resident of Tursunzoda, crashed into Opel-Astra on the Tursunzoda-Dushanbe highway.  A s a result of the collision, Opel-Astra driver Umarali Sherov, 43, was killed and his three passengers – Saidmahmad Sherov, Mansour Sherov and Abar Sherov – sustained various injuries and were hospitalized.

On June 1, Komilkhouja Khojayev, 43, lost control of his Opel-Astra and crashed into a pillar.  Khojayev died n hospital.  The accident took place in the Danghara district, Khatlon province.

On the same day, VAZ 2410, driven by Roudaki resident Mohammad Ahmadov, 20, hit two pedestrians – Rukhshona Hakimova, 37, and Nekrouz Nazriov, 8 – on the Vahdat-Dushanbe highway.  Nekrouz Nazirov died of injuries he sustained after he was hit by the car while Rukhshona Hakimova was hospitalized with various injuries, the source said.
