DUSHANBE, July 9, 2014, Asia-Plus — The Russian authorities have extradited to Tajikistan a wanted criminal in order for him to stand trial on charges of being involved in drug trafficking in Tajikistan.
According to information posted on the website of the Moscow regional prosecutor’s office, Tajik national Jamoliddin Saidov is wanted by Tajik law enforcement authorities for drug pushing. In May 11, Saidov reportedly sold nearly one kilogram of hashish to his two compatriots in the Khatlon province.
Internationally wanted Saidov was arrested in Moscow oblast in August last year the Russian Prosecutor-General’s Office last month made a decision to extradite Jamoliddin Saidov to Tajikistan.
