“Russian company, Rostovgiproshakht, is constructing the complex and an estimated budget for the project is some 600 million somoni (TJS),” Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, told Asia-Plus in an interview.

The mayor’s office has reportedly allotted some 10 hectares for construction of the complex, which will have several gym halls and athletic fields.

The project is expected to be finished in two and half years, the spokesman said.
