DUSHANBE, October 30, 2014, Asia-Plus — Tajik and Uzbek vice-premiers have reportedly discussed issue related to state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
“Tajik Deputy Prime Minister, Murodali Alimardon, held talks with the First Vice-Premier of Uzbekistan, Rustam Azimov, on the sidelines of the International Conference on the Implementation of Regional Projects in the Aral Sea Basin that was held in the Uzbek city of Urgench from October 28-29,” the source said.
According to him, the talks were held in a warm and friendly atmosphere and the sides discussed cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan within the framework of the Fund for Saving the Aral Sea and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
