DUSHANBE, March 30, Asia-Plus – The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Chairperson-in-Office, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic Is arriving in Dushanbe tomorrow on a three-day visit, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

While in Dushanbe, Mr. Ivica Dacic will attend a meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Foreign Ministers’ Council that will take here on April 2.

Serbia took over the Chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) from Switzerland on January 1, 2015.  The first Permanent Council meeting, chaired by the Permanent Representative of Serbia to the OSCE, was held in Vienna on January 15.

The OSCE Chairmanship is held for one calendar year by the OSCE participating State designated as such by a decision of the Ministerial Council.  The function of the Chairperson-in-Office (CiO) is exercised by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of that State.
