DUSHANBE, April 24, 2015, Asia-Plus – Armed Russian national has been killed by Tajik police in Khatlon’s Panj district bordering Afghanistan while resisting arrest.

The Interior Ministry’s website reports the incident took place in the Panj district on April 23 at 4:50 pm.  Armed Russian national Semyon Nagebin, nicknamed Sailim, was shot by local police while resisting arrest.

No details of the incident have been given.
