DUSHANBE, May 2, 2015, Asia-Plus – Akbar Ghulomov, top manager of Huaxin Gayur Cement Co., Ltd, has been appointed deputy president of Tajikistan’s National Olympic Committee (NOC).

Huaxin Gayur Cement Co., Ltd is a Tajikistan-China joint venture.  It was established by Huaxin Zhongya Investment (Wuhan) Co., Ltd, the subsidiary of Huaxin Cement Co., Ltd, and Gayur Limited Liability Company.  Huaxin Zhongya Investment (Wuhan) Investment Co., Ltd assumes the 75% ownership interest and Gayur Limited Liability Company owns 25 percent of the shares in Huaxin Gayur Cement Co., Ltd.

Akbar Ghulomov is the son of former First Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Asadullo Ghulomov, who died of a stroke on August 3, 2011 during a helicopter trip to inspect the Sangtuda hydroelectric power plant in the south of the country.
