DUSHANBE, July 31, 2015, Asia-Plus — To-date, no criminal proceedings have been instituted against the Islamic Revival Party (IRP) leader Muhiddin Kabiri, representative of the Prosecutor-General’s Office told reporters in Dushanbe on July 31.

“However, investigation into the legality of the privatization by Muhiddin Kabiri of the half-finished building of hospital with 500 beds in the Roudaki district is under way,” he noted.

We will recall that IRP leader Muhiddin Kabiri is now outside the country.

The state-run newspaper

Jumhuriyat

published an article on June 16 accusing Kabiri of breaking the law during a property transaction 16 years ago.

IRP leader and his supporters took the publication as a clear warning.  Kabiri noted during the international conference “Central Asia: Modern Challenges” in Moscow on June 17 that he fears returning home.
