Dushanbe. 27 August. “Asia Plus” — In honor of the 24th anniversary of the state independence of Tajikistan, President Emomali Rahmon will present state awards to a group of Tajiks. The award ceremony will be held at the Nations Palace on 28th of August.

As the government source said, among those who will receive medals and orders from the President are scientists, teachers, doctors, creative people, sportsmen, representatives of the power structures, known patrons and workers.

According to the source, with the “Sharaf “Order the President will also award a known Tajik athlete hammer thrower Dilshod Nazarov, who won a silver medal on the World Championship in hammer throwing in China on August 23.

The athlete will also receive from the President a money award at the rate of 200 thousand somoni. D.Nazarov became the first Tajik athlete, who owned a monetary award, established by Emomali Rahmon, for the Tajik athlete winners in international sports competitions.

Today Dilshod Nazarov has returned home from China and at the airport medalists was met by the leadership of the Committee on Youth, Sports and Tourism of Tajikistan and the journalists.
