DUSHANBE, December 22, 2015, Asia-Plus – A woman from the Jilikul district in Khatlon province has stabbed her two underage sons to death, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.

The tragedy reportedly occurred on December 20 at about 9:30 pm. The 42-year-old woman suffering from a mental illness stabbed her two sons, age 6 and 11, to death with kitchen knife.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.
