reports Iranian Minister of Defense, Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan, has extended separate messages to his counterparts congratulating them on approaching the New Year.

In his messages, Dehqan reportedly also felicitated his counterparts on the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ (PBUH) on December 25.

, Dehqan”s messages were dispatched to Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, North Korea, China, Lebanon, India, South Africa, Serbia, Poland, Greece, Venezuela, Italy, Brazil, Spain and Bolivia.

Dehqan has described birth anniversary of Jesus Christ as day of peace, friendship and justice.

He has also hoped that 2016 would be a year to bring security and tranquility to the world.
