DUSHANBE, June 15, 2016, Asia-Plus – Newly-appointed Ambassador of Tajikistan to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Bahodour Sharifi presented a copy of the credentials to the UAE Assistant Minister Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister for Political Affairs, Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman, on June 13.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed prospects of expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates.

reports that Al Jarman welcomed the newly-appointed minister and expressed UAE”s keenness to develop ties with Tajikistan.

Ambassador Sharifi, for his part, said he was pleased to represent his country in the UAE, which has witnessed tremendous progress, thanks to the wise policies of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
