DUSHANBE, July 4, 2016, Asia-Plus – Forty-six countries of the world have provided nearly 20 million U.S. dollars’ worth of more than 11,400 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan over the first five months of this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the same five-month period, among the donor countries the greatest share in value reportedly came from China – 27.4 percent; Russia – 22.5 percent; Pakistan – 6.7 percent; India – 6.4 percent; Serbia – 4.6 percent; Denmark – 4.1 percent; Republic of Korea – 2.9 percent; Belarus and Switzerland – 2.8 percent each; Germany and Kazakhstan – 2.3 percent each; Turkey – 2.2 percent; Azerbaijan and the United States – 1.9 percent each; France and Thailand – 1.7 percent; Iran – 1.4 percent; the Netherlands – 1.6 percent; Iran – 1.2 percent;  and others.

Forty-two countries of the world reportedly provided 45 million U.S. dollars’ worth of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan in 2015.
