On Thursday, September 1, in schools of Tajikistan the first bell will ring. First time in the first class will go more than 204 thousand young Tajik people.

With the new school year in the elementary grades of Tajik schools will be introduced a new pro-Western program of teaching. The Soviet scheme of teaching will become obsolete. The main purpose of the new method is the development of creative thinking skills.

As reported the Director of the Institute of the development of education, Academy of education, the Ministry of education and science of the RT Sharifmurod Isrofiliyon, now ME of the RT is trying to introduce competent method for learning, in which, unlike traditional systems, more active role is given to the student – a new method of teaching will allow students to move freely around the class, to discuss and debate in groups.

Isrofiliyon stressed that in the summer teacher of Tajik elementary schools have been trained and are already prepared to teach using the new method. In addition, were published the corresponding textbooks for grades 1-4.

This technique, as noted in the Ministry of education, is based on developed by American psychologist and educator Benjamin Bloom's method of "Competent education", which is very popular in the West. According to the author, only by creating favorable study conditions can be achieved significantly greater equality of students from the perspective of learning abilities, indicators of learning and motivation for subsequent learning.

Last year the Ministry of education and science of Tajikistan introduced a new method of teaching in 55 schools in the country. Successful results became immediately visible, so it was decided to implement a methodology in other educational institutions.

It is possible that this method of teaching may be implemented in Tajik high schools.
