The first performance of the State Symphony orchestra of Tajikistan will take place during the festive concert dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic, which is celebrated on September 9.

As reported the press service of the Ministry of culture of Tajikistan, by the decree of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon was established the State institution "State symphony orchestra" of the executive office of the President of the RT.

It is noted that the performers of the orchestra are mostly young people. The first performance of a new musical group in front of the audience will take place at the solemn concert dedicated to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of independence.

The Ministry of culture emphasize that in the future the State Symphony orchestra will show Tajik art during governmental events and while receiving distinguished guests. "This orchestra helps to fill the cultural space and to develop musical symphonic art", – conclude in the Ministry.

Note that symphony orchestra is the first musical group of this kind for independent Tajikistan.

In Soviet times Tajikistan had three symphony orchestras, however, with the collapse of the Union these musical performing groups fell apart.
